By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself.

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents 2 to 4 to rectify UDR mistakes and issue separate patta in the name of the petitioner and make correct entries in the revenue records of his lands in Survey No.250/1A2A1, measuring an extent of 4 acres, situated at Pattipulam Village, Thiruporur Taluk, Chengalpattu District, based on the Relinquish Deed dated 17.02.2021.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

It is the grievance of the petitioner that after the death of his father, the petitioner has partitioned the property. While sub-division, there was a mistake crept in the UDR patta. In this regard, the petitioner's brother has already filed a Writ Petition in W.P.No.15375 of 2020. This Court, by an order dated 23.10.2020 directed to consider the representation. Pursuant to the said order, the fourth respondent has no power to set right the mistakes.

The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents submitted that so far as the UDR mistakes are concerned, the District Revenue Officer / second respondent is the competent authority. 6.

In such view of the matter, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry based on the report of the third respondent dated 20.05.2022 and pass orders in this regard within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
