Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent who is the appointing authority for the post of PG Assistant as per Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Education Service to appoint 1737 candidates who wrote the written exam and attended the Certificate Verification pursuant to Notification No.10/2019 dated 12.06.2019 issued by the 3rd respondent as PG Assistants and consequently forbear the 3rd respondent from inviting applications from eligible candidates for the Direct Recruitment for the posts of PG Assistants in School Education coming under the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Educational Service in various subjects for the year 2019-2020.
