Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to grant permission to perform the last day's cultural event viz., Aadal Padal (song and dance) programme to be held on 24.07.2018 at 6.00 pm onwards in connection with the Special Anointed Worship of Sri Pongalayiyamman, Sri Kunniyamman and Sri Aiyyanar Swamy Thirukovil, Sirumangalam Village, Kallakurichi Taluk, Villupuram District and adequate further direct the respondent to give adequate police protection for the above said programme.
