N.ANAND VENKATESH.J The learned counsel for the petitioner has brought to the notice of this Court that in the order in Crl.O.P.No.18915 of 2019 dated 19.07.2019, based on the instructions given by the Additional Public Prosecutor, it has been mentioned as "FIR has been registered in Crime No.160 of 2019 on the file of the respondent police and based on the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Original Petition was ordered as "closed". Hence the counsel for the petitioner requested this Court to pass regular order for registration of the complaint. Hence, the case is posted today under the caption "for being mentioned".

2. Accepting the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the order dated 19.07.2019, in Crl.O.P.No.18915 of 2019 shall be replaced as follows:

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent Police to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner herein dated 16.04.2019.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3.In view of the judgment of the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.13681 of 2018 and batch of cases, dated 20.09.2018, the petition of this nature is not maintainable before this Court. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to work out his remedy in accordance with the guidelines given by the Hon'ble Division Bench in the decision referred supra.
