ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 21.12.2023 seeking employment.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner is qualified with B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The petitioner applied to the post of direct recruitment against the vacancies included in combined Civil Services Exam-II (20172018), non-interview post (Group II A Services) as per the notification dated 27.04.2017. The petitioner has secured 126 marks. However, the petitioner could not attend the certificate verification due to COVID-19 pandemic circumstances and also illness of his father. After a period of six years, the petitioner now submitted an application to consider him for selection process. It cannot be considered for the reason that the entire process was already over.

4. That apart, the petitioner submitted a representation after a period of six years. Further, the petitioner did not even attend the certificate verification. Thereafter, the respondent issued so many notification for recruitment of Group II post, interview and non-interview post.

4. In view of the above, this writ petition lacks merits and is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. 24.07.2024
