PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation given on 24.08.2021 to cancel the patta given to the third parties in the S.Nos.626 and 631 located at Kundrathur Village, Kundrathur Taluk, Kancheepuram District and to give the patta in the name of true land owners/legal heirs i.e. Mr.Perumal Thulasi (Petitioner's father) and Kannaiyan and their family after a proper inquiry to be made.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.08.2021 to cancel the patta given to the third parties in S.Nos.626 and 631 situated at Kundrathur https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Village, Kundrathur Taluk, Kancheepuram District and to give the patta in the name of true land owners/legal heirs i.e., Mr.Perumal Thulasi (father of the petitioner) and Kannaiyan and their family after a proper enquiry to be made.

2. Heard, Mr.R. Thirumoorthy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. Without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.08.2021 after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the counter parties, if any and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
