ORDER

[This case has been heard through video conference] This court, by order dated 04.09.2020 made in W.P.No.10262 of 2020, directed the respondent to process the application submitted by the petitioner on 09.09.2019 strictly in accordance with the Development Control Rules, prepared,

sanctioned and notified along with the revised Master Plan 2011 issued in G.O.Ms.No.50 dated 25.02.20211 and also the Review Approved Master Plan dated 01.04.2014 and shall pass necessary orders thereof within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. Alleging contempt of order of this court, the petitioner has come forward with the present contempt petition.

2. Today, when the matter has been taken up for hearing, the learned counsel standing counsel for the respondent submitted that pursuant to the order of this court dated 04.09.2020, the respondent has passed an order on 22.03.2021.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned standing counsel for the respondent, this contempt petition is closed as nothing survives for further adjudication. The respondent is, however, directed to serve a copy of the order to the petitioner. If the petitioner has got any grievance, he is at liberty to challenge the order passed by the respondent in the manner known to law. No costs.
