J U D G M E N T

(Judgment of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.) Though the prayer for mandamus filed by the petitioner is rejected by the Writ Court, pursuant to our directions, the Chief Manager (Sanctions) of the 2nd respondent / Bank has filed an affidavit stating that if the appellant re-applies seeking a loan of Rs.3,32,000/-, the 2nd respondent will consider the same and issue a fresh sanction letter for the said sum of Rs.3,32,000/- and disburse the same to the appellants. Relevant portion of the affidavit reads as follows:- "4. I further state that if the Appellant re-applies the loan seeking for a sum of Rs.3,32,000/-, the respondent shall consider the same and issue fresh sanction letter for the said sum of Rs.3,32,000/- and disburse the same to the Appellant."

2. In view of the affidavit filed, we do no propose to go into nittygritty of the issue involved in the Writ Appeal. This Writ Appeal is disposed of with a direction to the appellant to re-apply for the loan. The 2/4

3rd respondent College is directed issue a bonafide certificate stating that the petitioner had undergone the course from the Academic year 2021-2022 and she is expected to complete the course during the academic year 2024 - 2025. Such certificate shall be issued within a week from today.

3. Upon obtaining the certificate, the petitioner will re-apply for the loan with the 2nd respondent within 10 days thereafter, and the 2nd respondent will proceed to sanction and disburse the loan within four weeks from the date of the application. The timelines shall be followed strictly for all concerned. Any deviation therefrom, will be viewed seriously.
