PRAYER:-Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for an issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the representation dated 12.06.2023 given by the petitioner in order to correct the sub-divisions of the land in RS.No. 1939 and 1940 at Mylapore Village and Taluk, Chennai situated in Door No.29, Kallukaran Street, Mylapore, Chennai 04 and to grant Patta by following due process of law and also based on the records and title documents within a stipulated time and grant such other suitable relief as this case deems fit and proper. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.06.2023 seeking to correct the sub-divisions of the land in RS.No.1939 and 1940 at Mylapore Village and Taluk, Chennai situated in Door No.29, Kallukaran Street, Mylapore, Chennai 04 and to grant patta.

2.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner made a representation dated 12.06.2023 to the 1st respondent, seeking to correct the sub-division of the lands morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

3.Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the 3rd respondent would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 12.06.2023 will be considered within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 4.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondent 1 and 2; the Additional Government Pleader appearing for the 3rd respondents and the learned counsel for the 4th respondent. 5.Considering the submission made by both parties and in view of the limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.06.2023 on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other parties concerned. Such exercise shall be carried out by the 3rd respondent within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
