O R D E R

This writ petition is filed seeking a mandamus directing the first and second respondents to consider representation dated 22.10.2020 and pass orders within fixed time frame.

2. Even at the time of admission on 11.12.2020, the respondents were directed to decide the Original Application within a period of four (4) weeks from the first date of hearing that was fixed on 25.01.2021. Adjournments have been sought by R1 thereafter, to complete the enquiry.

3. Today, a memo is filed stating as follows: '1.It is humbly submitted that the enquiry in O.A.No.31 of 2019 is pending on file before this respondent. The enquiry has been going on and both the parties have been appearing.

2. It is humbly submitted that the next date of hearing has been fixed on 21.04.2021 and thereafter the entire proceedings will be completed within a period of two weeks.

3. Therefore it is humbly prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to grant a period of two weeks to pass orders in the pending O.A.31 of 2019'.

4. This is recorded and the first respondent/Joint Commissioner, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Department, Coimbatore is directed to ensure that orders are passed on the O.A.31 of 2019 within a period of two (2) weeks from 21.04.2021 as undertaken in the memo.

5. The mandamus sought stands achieved. This writ petition is disposed. No costs.
