(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner, an advocate, has filed the present public interest litigation solely based on the newspaper report alleging that there was a proposal to carry out certain demolition activities for Integrated Knowledge Park at DPI Campus situated at Nungambakkam, Chennai. several historic/heritage buildings within the precincts of that area are to be brought down.

2. On our query, we are informed that nothing has happened since then and the issue is more than three years old.

3. We find no reason why we should entertain the present petition merely based on the newspaper report without any ground work by the petitioner.

4. The writ petition is dismissed.

No costs.
