Contempt petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act praying to punish the respondents for the disobedience of the orders of this Hon'ble Court in W.P.31758 of 2012 and W.P.6670 of 2013 dated 03.04.2019.

O R D E R

This contempt petition is filed alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 03.04.2019 made in W.P.Nos.31758 of 2012 and 6670 of 2013.

2.Challenging the proceedings of the District Revenue Officer, the petitioners filed W.P.Nos.31758 of 2012 and 6670 of 2013 and this Court vide order dated 03.04.2019 allowed the said writ petitions and directed the parties to approach the civil Court for Declaration of title. Since patta was not restored to its original position, the petitioners have filed this contempt petition. 2/4

3.It is represented by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent that the order dated 03.04.2019 passed by this Court in W.P.Nos.31758 of 2012 and 6670 of 2013, which is the subject matter of contempt was complied with by restoring the patta in its original position vide proceedings of the Revenue Divisional Officer dated 11.09.2024.
