PRAYER : This petition has been filed to extend the time for the petitioner to surrender and produced the sureties before the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Kallakurichi, as per the condition imposed by this Court in the above Crl.OP.No.18765 of 2024 dated 22.08.2024.

This petition is filed to extend the time for the petitioner to surrender and produced the sureties before the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Kallakurichi, as per the condition imposed by this Court in the above Crl.OP.No.18765 of 2024 dated 22.08.2024 in connection with Crime No.432 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail by this Court on 22.08.2024 with certain conditions. Among them, one of the conditions is that the petitioner should deposit a sum of Rs.50,000/- to the credit of Registered Advocate Clerks Association, Kallakurichi District within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of that order. Accordingly, the petitioner had deposited the said amount, but at the time of surrender, the petitioner was hospitalized for viral fever. He further submitted that the respondent police had registered two more cases against the petitioner in Cr.Nos.299 and 343 of 2024 respectively. Hence, he had great difficulty to mobilize the fund and unable to comply the order within the stipulated time.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made by both counsel, this court is inclined to extend further two weeks time to the petitioner to surrender and produce the sureties as ordered by this Court, from the date on which the present order copy made ready. 09.07.2025 Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Internet:Yes Vv To
