Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to register the petitioner's name as Patent Agent in the roll of Patent Agents under the Provisions of the Patent Act pursuant to the petitioner's application dated 15.4.2013.

The petitioner who is a party-in-person has come forward with this writ petition seeking for a direction to the respondents to restore the petitioner's name as Patent Agent in the roll of Patent Agents under the Provisions of the Patent Act, pursuant to the petitioner's application dated 15.4.2013.

2.Heard both sides and perused the material documents available on records.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he would be satisfied, if a direction is issued to the first respondent to dispose of his application dated 15.4.2013 in accordance with law. He has further submitted that in similar circumstances, this Court passed appropriate orders in W.P.No.8472 of 2006.

4. The learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that they are ready to pass orders on the application of the petitioner dated 15.4.2013.

5. In the light of the above submissions, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to pass appropriate orders on the application of the petitioner dated 15.4.2013 on merits and in accordance with law, after providing an opportunity to the petitioner and other necessary parties, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
