Seeking to quash the case in Crime No.4/2009 on the file of the first respondent, the petitioner is before before this Court with this Criminal Original Petition.

2. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the first respondent; learned counsel for the second respondent and I have also perused the records carefully.

3. It is brought to my notice by the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the first respondent that on completing investigation, further action has been dropped in this matter by the first respondent. Thus, nothing survives in this petition.

4. Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (crl.side), the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed however, it is open for the petitioner to work out his remedies in the manner known to law. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
