The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 22.06.2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 9(m) and 10 of Protection of Child from Sexual Offences Act 2012 in Crime No.47 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that petitioner had misbehaved with victim girl aged about 12 years. Hence, the complaint.

3. On perusal of the statement recorded under Section 164 of Cr.P.C. revealed that the victim girl aged about 12 years was sexually assaulted by the petitioner and another. Though, the petitioner is aged about 70 years, he committed very serious and heinous offence as against the minor victim girl.
