The learned Administrator General and Official Trustee has filed this application seeking to:

➢direct the respondent to quit and deliver vacant possession of Door No.17, III North Beach Road, Chennai 600 001; ➢direct the respondent to pay the rental arrears of Rs.3,44,900/- from 01.01.2022 to till date;

➢direct the respondent to pay damages for use and occupation of the premises at the rate of Rs.60,000/- per month from the date of filing of this application till the date of handing over possession; ➢direct the applicant to take over vacant possession through police force, if the respondent fails to hand over vacant possession. Heard the applicant. Though the name of the respondent has been printed in the cause list, there is no representation for him. Satisfied with report dated 03.08.2022 of the applicant, the applicant is permitted to take vacant possession of Door No.17, III North Beach Road, Chennai 600 001, with police protection. Needless to state that it is open to the applicant to recover arrears of rent from the respondent.
