Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.11.2022 forwarded by the 2nd respondent and pass order within the time frame fixed by this court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.11.2022 forwarded by the 2nd respondent and pass order within the time frame fixed by this court.

2. The case of the petitioner is that, he is an agriculturalist and he had cultivated paddy crops to an extent of 2 acre 94 cents in Survey No.91/2B2C, at Manali Kottaram Village, which belonged to one Ahamed Marakaiayar and his legal heirs and they leased out the same to the petitioner. It is the grievance of the petitioner that he made a Page No.2 of 4

representation dated 29.11.2022 before the 2nd respondent, wherein he has sought for action against the respondents 4 and 5, which was forwarded to the 1st respondent, vide letter dated 15.12.2022, however, till date, no enquiry was conducted by the 1st respondent on his representation. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition for appropriate orders.

Though very many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, it would suffice, if this court, issues a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.11.2022 and pass appropriate orders, within a time frame that may be stipulated by this court.

4. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.11.2022 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
