O R D E R

Petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the Respondents herein, to allot one BDS seat for her, for the Academic year 2018-2019, in the SC Quota, based on her NEET Marks of 222.

According to the Petitioner, she did her schooling, i.e. from basic education till Standard X in Tamil Nadu. As her father was transferred to the State of Telengana in 2015, she did her Higher Secondary Education at Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. She appeared in the NEET Examination for the academic year 20182019 under S.C. Quota and scored 222 out of 720 marks. The grievance of the Petitioner is that candidates under S.C. Quota, who have scored lesser marks than her in the NEET Examination, were called for Counselling. Hence, she is before this Court by way of the present Writ Petition.

It is seen that the Petitioner's sister viz. Bavya has been considered under S.C. Quota and that the Petitioner has produced her Community Certificate and Nativity Certificate apart from a copy of her Family Card, as requisite proof. In view of the fact that the Petitioner's sister, who has attended NEET Examination has been called for Counselling, this Court directs the Respondents herein to consider the case of the Petitioner, if she fulfils all other conditions. It is made clear that the Petitioner can be considered in the second round of counselling, as the first round of counselling is already over.

This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction and observation.

No costs.

Consequently, connected W.M.P.No.21009 of 2018 is closed.
