ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1 to 3rd respondent herein to process the application of the petitioners representation dated 08.05.2026 for restoration of metro water supply and Consequently to give metro water supply to the petitioner house in No.47D, South Madha Street, Thiruvotriyur, Chennai - 600019 by collecting necessary charges from the petitioner.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner is a tenant. Due to some dispute, the 4th respondent who is owner of the house and his wife disconnected the water supply and sewerage connection. The petitioner is paying the rent regularly. Hence, the petitioner made a representation on 08.05.2026 before the respondent for restoration of metro water supply and sewerage connection to the petitioner's house and the same is not considered till date. Hence, the present writ petition.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representation within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
4. The learned Government Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation will be considered and orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
5. Heard the learned counsel for both side and perused the materials available on record.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this court directs the second respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated08.05.2026 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
