..Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 3 to measure the petitioners property situated in Survey Nos.325/1C-0.03 Ares, 325/1F-0.22, 325/1G0.11 and 325/1B-0.25 totally to an extent of 0.61 Ares of land in Selaiyur Village, Tambaram Taluk, Kanchipuram District and erect milestone and transfer patta in the name of the petitioners pursuant to the representations dated 03.06.2016 and 23.06.2016 within a stipulated period of time. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioners claim to be the owners of several acres of land including land in Survey Nos.325/1C admeasuring to an extent of 0.03 Ares, 0.22 Ares in S.No.325/1F, 0.11 Ares https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

in S.No.325/1G and 0.25 Ares in S.No.325/1B totally to an extent of 0.61 Ares of land in Selaiyur Village, Tambaram Taluk, Kanchipuram District by way of succession and they submitted an application/representation dated 03.06.2016 for transfer of patta in their names and since no orders have been passed, they also sent a reminder dated 23.06.2016 and in the absence of response, constrained to approach this Court by filing this writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.A.Rajesh Kanna, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. Though the petitioners prayed for the larger relief, this Court, in the light of the facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioners' representation dated 03.06.2016 as well as the reminder dated 23.06.2016 in accordance with law after putting on notice the persons concerned and pass orders within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner as well as the to the persons concerned.
