Prayer:- Writ Petition filed, under the Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to disburse the terminal benefits of the petitioner's deceased husband by considering the petitioner's representation dated 23.06.2023. ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to disburse the terminal benefits of the petitioner's deceased husband by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 23.06.2023.
2. The grievance of the writ petitioner is that the petitioner's husband was working as Motor Operator before the fifth respondent Town Panchayat and he met with an accident on 18.11.2018 and died in harness and the petitioner was appointed as an office assistant on the 2/5
ground of compassionate appointment in the fifth respondent office. But the terminal benefits of the petitioner's husband has not been disbursed to the petitioner. In this regard, she has given a representation on 23.06.2023 to the respondents to disburse the terminal benefits of her husband. But the same has not been considered by the respondents. Hence, the present Writ Petition.
3. Considering the limited relief sought in this Writ Petition, the fourth respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.06.2023 and disburse the entire terminal benefits of husband of the petitioner as per rules within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
