ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.388 of 2018 within the time frame fixed by this Court.

The name of the 1st respondent mentioned in the petition shall stand deleted and his status alone shall be shown in the cause list.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though respondent has registered a case in the above https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

said crime number on 27.09.2018, no final report is filed till date.

5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that the respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of three months.

6. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, as expeditiously as possible, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

7. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
