ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to call for the records of the first respondent in his proceedings No.E1/2018/29917-7 dated 28.06.2019 appointing the 2nd respondent as the Head of the Department of Chemistry in the first respondent University and to quash the same as being illegal, unsustainable in law and for a consequential direction to the first respondent to appoint the petitioner as the Head of the Department of Chemistry in Bharathiar University, Coimbatore.

2. Heard Mr.R.Ramachandran, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.J.Karthick Srinath, learned counsel for the second respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking the relief of appointing him as the Head of the Department of the Chemistry Department in the first respondent University.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that during the Page No.2 of 4

pendency of the proceedings, the petitioner has been appointed as the Head of the Department of the Chemistry Department in the first respondent University.

5. In view of the above submission, nothing remains to be considered further in this Writ Petition. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
