4.The petitioner has approached this Court challenging the order of suspension passed in G.O.(2D) No.374, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Services Wing, Ser.2(1) Section, dated 11.12.2017.

5.According to the petitioner, despite lapse of several months, the suspension has not been renewed. In this connection, the petitioner appears to have submitted a representation on 16.04.2018 to the respondent, but, however, till date, the representation has not evoked any response. Therefore, he is before this Court challenging the order of suspension dated 11.12.2017.

6.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that, he would be satisfied if the representation as aforementioned is directed to be disposed of by the respondent within a stipulated time. 7.In view of the limited prayer sought for by the learned counsel, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition by directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation said to have been submitted by the petitioner on 16.04.2018 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks' from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 8.With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.21017 of 2018 is closed.
