ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 09.06.2023 seeking light duty to his disablement.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner is working as Driver in the respondent Corporation. Due to suffering from chronic pancreatic disease, the petitioner was not able to drive heavy vehicle continuously. The petitioner was also affected by lumbar disc disease. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation seeking light duty instead the post of driver.

4. Considering the above, the respondent is directed to find out the disability of the petitioner, subject to the verification of the medical examination and on receipt of the medical report, the respondent is directed to act in accordance with the report and pass orders.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
