Balaji GA, for R.1 and R.2 in both WPs COMMON ORDER WP.No.22203 of 2026 has been filed for the following reliefs:- "directing the 2nd respondent to pass final orders on the pending appeal of the petitioner dated 20-12-2021 before him forthwith as per the orders of this Honâ ble Court dated 14-10-2022 passed in W.P No 16647 of 2022 and consequently to direct the 1st respondent to pass an order of deemed reinstatement of the Petitioner as sanitary worker from the date his eligibility along with service and monetary benefits and render justice."
2. WP.No.22203 of 2026 has been filed for the following reliefs:- "Directing the 2nd Respondent to decide and pass final orders on the pending appeal of the petitioner dated 20.12.2021 forthwith and thus render Justice.."
3. The main grievance of the petitioners is that, though this Court, by order dated 14.10.2022, had directed the 2nd respondent to pass final orders on the petitioners' appeal dated 20.12.2021 (challenging the order of removal passed by the 1st respondent dated 29.10.2020), on merits and in accordance with law within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order, no final orders have been passed till date, despite the petitioners having issued a legal notice to the 2nd respondent seeking compliance with the directions of this Court.
4.Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the records.
5. Considering the fact that the respondents are already in contempt for non-compliance with the earlier orders of this Court passed in WP.Nos.16647 & 16658 dated 14.10.2022, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to pass final orders on the appeal preferred by the petitioners on
20.12.2021, after affording them an opportunity of personal hearing, within a period of two weeks from today. The 2nd respondent shall not insist upon the petitioners producing a certified copy of this order, as the same has been passed in the presence of the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
