ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents 1 & 2 to consider the petitioner representation dated 01.04.2023 and permit the petitioner to join as constable in Tamil Nadu Police Service as per 30.04.2020 in Na.Ka.No.A3/2600/2020 and to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 01.04.2023.
2.It is the contention of the writ petitioner that she had been selected as a constable in Tamil Nadu Police during the year 2020. The letter of joining was also issued on 03.04.2020. During that time, she contracted an intercaste marriage. As all of her certificates were in their home, therefore, she could not appear before the respondent in time. Hence, she gave a representation on 01.04.2023, no orders have been passed. Hence, this writ petition
3. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record.
4. On perusal of the appointment order dated 30.04.2020, it was specifically directed to the petitioner to appear on 30.05.2020 and furnish educational and other certificates for verification. However, the petitioner has not joined the duty in the Uniform Service and now, she cannot revive the appointment Order by way of a representation on vague allegations. 2/4
5. Now, the petitioner had already lost the opportunity despite she had been selected. Since, the right has already extinguished, the same cannot be revived by way of a representation. Accordingly, I do not find any merits in the case and this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. 20.07.2023 dhk Index:Yes/No Internet: Yes/No To 1.The Deputy Inspector General of Police Dr.Radhakrishnan Salai Mylapore, Chennai - 600 004 2.The District Superintendent of Police Dharamapuri District.
