petitioner's representation dated 30.04.2021 to calculate the petitioner's service from the date of his initial appointment on 13.01.1995 and sanction all monetary and service benefits payable to the petitioner and consequently direct the respondents to grant pension with all consequential benefits and arrears.

Prayer in W.P.No.21434 of 2021: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.04.2021 to calculate the petitioner's service from the date of his initial appointment on 12.01.1995 and consequently direct the respondents to pay pension and other terminal benefits at the time of retirement to the petitioner with all consequential benefits and arrears.

Prayer in W.P.No.21435 of 2021: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.04.2021 to calculate the petitioner's service from the date of his initial appointment on 19.03.1997 and consequently direct the respondents to pay pension and other terminal benefits at the time of retirement to the petitioner with all consequential benefits and arrears.

For Petitioner : Mr.S.Esairani Narasimman (in all W.Ps) For Respondents : Mr.L.S.M.Hasan Fizal (in all W.Ps) Government Advocate COMMON ORDER By this common order, all these writ petitions are being disposed of.

2.Mr.L.S.M.Hasan Fizal, learned Government Advocate submits that appropriate orders will be passed on the merits considering the representation of the petitioners dated 30.04.2021 in all these writ petitions.

3.Recording the above submissions, this writ petition is disposed by directing the 2nd respondent to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The 2nd respondent shall also consider the earlier decision of this Court and Government orders passed in the case of similarly placed persons.

4.These writ petitions stand disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
