O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed seeking for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent to provide Police protection to the petitioner based on his representation dated 11.04.2025 in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent and perused the materials available on record.

The grievance of the petitioner is that the property in S.No.71 at No.13/67, Bhuvaneshwari Amman Nagar, Periyar Street, Thailayaram, Chengalpattu District is the self-acquired property of the petitioner and he is residing in the said property for several years. However, the second respondent, who is the wife of the petitioner tried to take possession of the subject property. Hence, the petitioner has filed a suit in O.S.No.285 of 2017 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Chengalpattu and obtained a decree of permanent injunction in his favour on 09.04.2025. Despite the judgment and decree, the second respondent is trying to trespass into the Pg.Nos.2/4

subject property and hence, the petitioner gave a representation dated 11.04.2025 to the first respondent seeking police protection. Since there was no response from the first respondent-Police, the present petition is filed. If at all there is any violation, it is for the petitioner to file appropriate execution petition and proceed as against the second respondent for penal action.

4. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
