This petition is filed under Section 17-B of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 directing the respondent/ writ petitioner to pay the last drawn wages of the petitioner/respondent with effect from the date of filing of the above writ petition pending disposal of the writ petition.

2. The petitioner in his sworn affidavit stated that he was not employed any where during his period of non-employment and he has also stated that his last drawn wages was Rs.5,600/-. The said facts are not disputed or denied by the respondent/writ petitioner.

3. In view of the affidavit filed by the petitioner, a direction is issued to the petitioner management to pay the petitioner last drawn wages of Rs.5,600/- from the date of filing of the writ petition till the disposal of the writ petition. The 17-B wages shall be paid from April and thereafter on or before 10th of every month. The arrears of 17-B wages shall be paid within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this petition is ordered.
