COMMON ORDER These Contempt Petitions have been filed to punish the respondent for non compliance of the common order dated 02.01.2024, passed by this Court in W.P.No.34843 of 2023 etc., batch, thereby directed the respondent to disburse the earned leave salary to the petitioners who retired from their respective services from the year 2013 to 2018, within a period of twelve weeks.

The learned Additional Government Pleader (Pondy) appearing for the respondent submitted that aggrieved by the common order passed by this Court, the respondent preferred appeals in W.A.No.1627 of 2025 etc., batch and obtained an interim order of stay by an order dated 13.06.2025. 3.

In view of the above submissions, all the Contempt Petitions are closed at present. The petitioners are at liberty to file fresh contempt petition subject to the result of the Writ Appeals.
