This petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 440 days in filing the appeal against the conviction and sentence imposed on 23.01.2024 in S.C.No.340 of 2022, on the file of the Sessions Court, Mahalir Neethimandram, Allikulam, Chennai.

2. This Court is convinced with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of the petition. Since the delay has been satisfactorily explained, the delay is condoned and this petition is allowed.

3. Registry is directed to number the above Criminal Appeal, if it is otherwise in order and post the same in usual course.
