ORDER

This petition is filed, praying to call for the records in C.C.No.2175 of 2016 pending on the file of the learned XVIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet and quash the same in respect of the complaint made against the petitioner.

2. When this petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the petition on the ground that the settlement talks are going on. However, he seeks liberty to file the petition afresh, if the settlement between the parties fails. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.

Permission as sought for is granted. Recording the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition along with connected Crl.M.P. is dismissed. It is needless to state that if settlement fails, it is always open to the petitioner to seek remedy in the manner known to law.
