ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with the above Writ Petition praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to change the category of the petitioner from "U.R" to "O.B.C." in her Application No.40952720, dated 22.02.2018 and consequently direct the respondents to issue a Certificate according to the eligible category of the petitioner.

2. When the present Writ Petition is taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate appearing for the fourth respondent submitted that the petitioner's case will be considered for counselling under OBC quota, if she is found eligible as per all the other requirements for counselling. If at a later date, it is found that the certificate(s) produced and the so-called qualification to be obtained by the petitioner is invalid, then the degree obtained by her will stand automatically cancelled.

3. While recording the above submission of the learned Government Advocate, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, W.M.P. is closed.
