Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the investigation now at the hands of the respondents 1 to 4 pertaining to the complaints against the petitioner vide FIR Nos. 139 of 2020 and FIR No.1390 of 2021 to any other agency namely CBI based at Shastri Bhavan, Chennai to investigate the matter and to file a final report in this connection and similarly for taking action against such erring police officials attached to the local Taluk Police Station Kancheepuram, Kancheepuram District as well the respondents 5 and 6. 1/4

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to transfer the investigation.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that though this writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to transfer the investigation, the investigation is already completed, final report is laid in S.C.No.173 of 2021 on the file of the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge at Chegalpattu. The said final report is also quashed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.5571 of 2023 vide order dated 27.03.2025. Hence, it is submitted that nothing survives in this writ petition as the very final report itself is quashed.

4. Such view of the matter, this Court is of the view that that no purpose will be served in directing the transfer of investigation. Hence, this writ 2/4

petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition stands closed.
