The petitioner herein was granted anticipatory bail by learned Principal Sessions Court in Crime No.232 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police. When he sought for relaxation of bail condition, the 1/4
CPP has reported that the petitioner is not regular in reporting to the police as per the condition. Therefore, the Sessions Court has dismissed the relaxation petition vide order dated 24.06.2024. Being aggrieved, the present petition is filed on the ground that out of 5 accused, only one by name Kanniammal is not reporting before the Investigating Officer. Whereas the petitioner is regularly reporting before the Investigating Officer as per the bail condition.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police on verifying the records submits that the petitioner / Ganapathy regularly appeared before the respondent police and the case is still under investigation.

Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition to relax the bail condition is allowed. The petitioner shall report before the Investigating Officer once in a week on every Monday at 10.30 a.m., until further orders.
