Prayer: This Civil Revision Petition is filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India praying to order speedy disposal of the case in HMOP No.44 of 2020 pending on the file of the Family Court at Mannarkudi and pass orders.

ORDER

This petition is filed seeking a direction to order speedy disposal of the case in H.M.O.P.No.44 of 2020 pending on the file of the Family Court at Mannarkudi and pass orders.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the marriage between the 1/4

petitioner and the respondent was solemnized on 20.03.2005 and due to the said wedlock no child was born to them. The respondent is not interest in conjugal relationship with the petitioner, due to which dispute arose between them and they are living separately. Hence, the petitioner filed H.M.O.P.No.44 of 2020 seeking divorce on the file of the Family Court at Mannarkudi and the same is pending for five years and there is no progress in the H.M.O.P. Hence this petition.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that several counseling were held and chance of re-union made out, subsequently on 27.08.2021 mutually agreed to settle the issue before the Court mediation and petitioner agreed to handover the respondent jewels 7.5 soverigns and cash of Rs.50,000/- and the same was accepted by the respondent. However, the respondent failed to appear for the Court proceedings and dragging the case till date. Hence, prays to allow this petition.

4. In view of the above, the learned Family Judge, Mannarkudi 2/4

is directed to dispose of the HMOP No.44 of 2020 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
