Respondents PRAYER:- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first and second respondents to approve the petitioner's appointment as Assistant Professor in Commerce in the third respondent College in the sanctioned vacancy caused by the Retirement of Sr.Alice K.T with effect from 06.03.2017 to 28.10.2020 in the light of the approval given by the first respondent to similarly placed person vide proceedings Na.Ka.No.31159/F2/2017 dated 23.04.2018 in W.P.No.31658 of 2017 dated 06.12.2017 with monetary and all other attendant and service benefits based on the representation of the petitioner dated 06.01.2021.

ORDER

Though a wider relief has been sought for in this writ petition, this Writ Petition is disposed by directing the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.01.2021 and pass appropriate orders on merits. This exercise shall be carried out by the second respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

2. While considering the representation of the petitioner, the second respondent may also factor the order of this Court rendered in W.P(MD).No.6155 of 2021 on 18.03.2021 and an order passed by this Court in W.P.No.31658 of 2017 on 06.12.2017 and the consequential implementation of the aforesaid orders. No costs.
