Mr.M.Sivavarthanan Government Counsel COMMON ORDER These writ petitions have been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent herein to receive the application of the petitioners dated 29.04.2026 in Form CCPA along with the prescribed fee through online for the grant of Auto Rickshaw Permit to operate the vehicle within radius of 30 K.M. distance from Salem Town Old Bus Stand, Salem Salem District and to consider the same.

2. The petitioners seek for auto rickshaw permit. The petitioners had

submitted applications on 29.04.2026 in Form CCPA for the said purpose with the respondent. Since the said applications have not been considered, the petitioners have filed these writ petitions.

3. Mr.M. Sivavarthanan, learned Government Counsel, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent in all the cases.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondent if the petitioner8s' application dated 29.04.2026, as stated supra, is considered on merits and in accordance with law after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioners within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner8s application.

5. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner8s' application dated 29.04.2026 seeking for grant of auto rickshaw permit in his favour to operate the vehicle within the radius of 30 kms. from Salem Town Old Bus Stand, Salem, Salem District, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the aforesaid directions, these writ petitions stand disposed of. No costs.
