Application No.3457 of 2024 Application No.3457 of 2024 Krishnan Ramasamy,J., M.Arunachalam, learned counsel appearing for the applicant would submit that the mandate of the Arbitrator expired on 04.07.2024, therefore, this application has been filed by the applicant for extending the mandate of the learned Arbitrator by another period of one year.
2. Mr.S.Arulandu, learned counsel for the respondents is present and gave consent for extension of the mandate.
3. Considering the submission made by both the parties and on being satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit, this Court is inclined to extend the mandate, however, not for a period of one year, as sought for by the applicant, but for a period of ten months.
4. Accordingly, the Application is disposed of. Consequently, the mandate of the learned Arbitrator to pass an Award is extended by a period of ten months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order by the learned Arbitrator from the Registry.
