PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 herein to give suitable police protection to the petitioner's land, well and Motor pump set situated in Survey No.99/6 Edapalayam Village, Villupuram Taluk. This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first and second respondents to give suitable police protection to the petitioner's land, well and Motor pump set situated in Survey No.99/6 Edapalayam Village, Villupuram Taluk.

2.It is seen that the petitioner has lodged complaint before the respondents on 17.08.2020, the first and second respondents have issued two CSR.Nos.694 of 2020 and 465 of 2021 dated 17.08.2020 and 21.05.2021 respectively and thereafter the same is still pending without any progress.

3.In view of the same, the second respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry, on the complaint lodged by the petitioner after issuing notice to the petitioner and the respondents and dispose of the same, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
