ORDER

The petitioner is the wife. Her marriage with the respondent was solemnized on 22.2.2023. From the wedlock, there are no children. The husband has initiated HMOP.No.171 of 2024 on the file of the Family Court

at Salem seeking for divorce.

2. The petitioner pleads that her economic situation does not permit her to travel from her village which is in Sankari Taluk, Salem District to Salem Town. She pleads that the Sub Court at Sankari is less than 10kms from her village.

3. Notice was ordered in the application. The respondent was served on 02.09.2024. He does not appear in person nor is any counsel present to oppose the transfer.

4. Considering the convenience and interest of the wife, the proceeding in HMOP.No.171 of 2024 is withdrawn from the file of the Family Court at Salem and is transferred to the file of the Sub Court at Sankari.

5. With the above directions, this transfer petition is allowed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 25.10.2024 nl Index : Yes/No Speaking Order/Non speaking order : Yes/No
