ORDER
This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to amend the order dated 20.04.2026 passed in Crl.OP.No.9866 of 2026 incorporating that Crime No.185 of 2026 registered for the offenses punishable under sections 191(2), 296(b), 115(2), 132 of BNS and section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Medical Service and Medical Service Institutions (Prevention of Violence and Damage or Loss to Property Act) on the file of respondent police. 2.
The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that this Court granted anticipatory bail to the petitioner vide order dated 20.04.2026 passed in Crl.O.P. No. 9866 of 2026. However, the crime number was erroneously mentioned as 'Not Known' in both the petition and the order. Subsequently, the petitioner filed another petition, in Crl.O.P. No. 13686 of 2026, incorporating Crime No. 185 of 2026. However, this Court dismissed the said petition as 'Not Pressed,' while granting liberty to the petitioner to move an appropriate application seeking amendment.
3.
The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) raises no serious objection to the proposed amendment.
4.
Considering that all other facts are correctly mentioned in the original petition and only the crime number was omitted, a fact not seriously disputed by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition stands allowed. The crime number in the order dated 20.04.2026 passed in Crl.O.P. No. 9866 of 2026 shall be amended to read as "Crime No. 185 of 2026". Further, a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order is extended for complying with the conditions originally imposed therein.
