By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that when he presented the sale deed dated 08.07.2016, executed by Mr.M.Harishkumar in his favour in respect of the property mentioned in the schedule to the said sale deed, for registration, it was refused to receive by the respondent and hence, came forward to file this writ petition.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though all formalities have been complied with for presentation and registration of the said sale deed, the respondent, for the reason best known to him, is not inclined to receive the same for the purpose of registration and prays for appropriate orders.

4. Heard the submission of Mr.R.A.S.Senthilvel, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

5. Though the petitioner prayed for the larger relief, this Court, in the light of the facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the respondent to consider the request made by the petitioner for registration of the sale deed dated 08.07.2016, in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
