..Respondent(s) PRAYER: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the issuance of a Writ of a Mandamus directing the respondents to grant and extend the service and monetary benefits accrued thereon pursuant to the 2nd respondents proceedings dated 13.08.2025 as per the 5th batch in G.O.Ms.No.1753, Home (Pol.-3) Department dated 16.12.2007 on the basis of my representation dated 02.03.2026.

ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of a Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.03.2026.

2. The case of the petitioner is that she submitted a representation dated 02.03.2026 to the first respondent seeking the extension of consequential service and monetary benefits, including pay fixation, arrears of salary, increments and other attendant benefits payable to the petitioner. However, the same has not yet been considered by the first respondent. Challenging the inaction on the part of the first respondent, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for both sides, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.03.2026 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
