ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble R.Subramanian J.) The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to pay the differential amount as per the award of the District Court made in LAOP.No.96 of 2020 dated 22.02.2024.

2. We do not think such a direction could be issued in this appeal which is filed by the petitioners seeking to enhance the compensation over and above what has been granted by the District Court. Admittedly the Government has not preferred an appeal against the award of the District Court. It is therefore open to the petitioners to seek execution of the award before the District Court.

3. Hence, this petition is dismissed.
