Perumal, who is confined at Central Prison, Vellore, and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu, before this Hon'ble Court and set him at liberty.

[Made by R.HEMALATHA, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in B3.D.O.No.71/2021 dated 17.09.2021, detaining his friend as https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

"BOOTLEGGER" under Section 2(b) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.5891, Home, Prohibition and Excise (IX) Department, dated 30.11.2021 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
