ORDER

(This case has been heard through video conference) This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to complete the investigation and file the final report in Crime No.117 of 2020 pending on the file of the respondent within a time frame as stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing on behalf of the respondent police.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent has registered a case in the above said crime number on 02.03.2020, no final report is filed till date.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police would submit that the respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of three months.

5. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
