Today, when the matter taken up for hearing, a status report has been filed by 2nd respondent District Revenue Officer stating that, out of 7 properties, 6 properties were already auctioned and total sale proceeds comes to Rs.3,47,53,503/-, which has been deposited in a nationalised bank.

2. Mr. B.Kumar, learned senior counsel appearing for petitioner would submit that, the properties are worth about several crores and even though the petitioner has offered more amount, without considering the same, the auction sale was conducted and the petitioner is ready to offer more amount.

3. Considering their request, the respondents are directed not to confirm the auction sale until further orders. The 2nd respondent District Revenue Officer is directed to appear before this court on 28.03.2022 at 02.15 p.m. through video conference.

4. Post the matter on 28.03.2022.
